Computer RepairThe customer shall back up all data stored in the products to be repaired and remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, DVDs or PC Cards before submitting the products for repair. AJB Computers (The Company) does not accept any liability for data or software which is lost, corrupted, deleted or altered during repair. The customer accepts full responsibility for Customer software and data, the company can back up and restore data at an additional cost. The customer understands and accepts that some applications may no longer work properly after a repair, due to the installation of different hardware or software. It is the customer’s responsibility to reconfigure or reinstall any such applications, the company can however re-configure the PC at an additional cost. To qualify for our No-Fix-No-Fee policy, the customer must deliver the faulty PC to the company to diagnose and repair. The No-Fix-No-Fee policy does not include home visits. Following diagnosis the customer will be notified by phone as to the nature of the repair required. If the customer requires the company to carry out the repair a labour charge of £25 per hour applies on a successfull repair. However, if after the attempted repair the PC still doesn't function the customer will not be charged. There is no call out fee to home visits Monday to Saturday, however there will be a call out fee of £45 for the first hour and then £25 per hour thereafter on Sundays whether the PC can be repaired or not. Monday to Saturday if the technician is called to a customer premesis to repair a PC there is no fee for Diagnosis. However if the customer requires the technician to carry out the repair following diagnosis there will be a charge of £45 for the first hour, then our standard hourly rate thereafter. All prices quoted are plus parts. All work is covered by a labour only 30 day warranty. If the same problem re-occurs within 30 days of the original repair (stated on the invoice), the company will only charge for any additional parts that may be required. Excludes faults caused by software, virus and end user errors. Charges for remote support are £20 per hour, and will be invoiced within 7 days of the Support request. Remote support carrys our No-Fix-No-Fee policy. Businesses are granted 30 days to pay outstanding invoices following completion. Custom Built ComputersFollowing the initial consultation and quotation a deposit of 50% of the total quotation value or the total cost of component parts and software, whichever is the greatest, is required before work on the build project can be started. Businesses are granted 30 days to pay outstanding invoices following completion. Residential customers are required to pay by cash, cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card via PayPal upon completion. You do not need a PayPal account to use the PayPal system. All custom built computers come with the statutory 12 month warranty on parts and labour. All custom built computers are supplied with all software quoted installed and tested as working. Additional software supplied by the customer can only be installed at an extra cost of £10 per software during the build. The company will deliver the finished computer and install it free of charge, however any further configuration required, eg internet, printer etc is the customers responsibility. Further configurations can be carried out by the company at our standard hourly rate. Data RecoveryThe company cannot guarantee to recover all data from dead or faulty hard disc drives. The company uses the latest software data recovery solutions to recover data from faulty hard drives. However, should it be deemed necessary to have the hard drive dismantled in a "clean room" environment this will be costed seperately. AJB Computers uses a partner company to perform clean room data recovery. As part of its confidentiality policy, AJB Computers agrees not to disclose any/all information or data files supplied with, stored on, or recovere from client equipment except to employees or agents of AJB Computers subject to confidentialty agreements or as required by law, without the consent of the client. ProductsHardware is supplied on an order only basis, AJB Computers are only a small company and are limited to carrying a small amount of stock. products can be returned within 7 days for a full refund so long as the product is unused. In the case of software this can be returned within 7 days so long as it hasn't been installed and activated. If the software is installed and activated on the customers PC it will be deemed that the customer has accepted the licence agreement of the software manufacturer. all hardware supplied by AJB Computers is covered by the manufacturers 12 month guarantee. AJB Computers are an official AVG reseller. Following the purchase of AVG from the company and the supply of the license needed to activate the software, the client agrees to the terms and conditions on the Grisoft web site. Installation of the software and configuration is the customers responsibility, however installation and configurations can be carried out by the company at an extra charge of our standard hourly rate. 12 Month Gold Support PackageThe 12 month gold support package includes all labour charges for the 12 month period from when the package was purchased. The support package does not include replacement parts required to conduct a repair. The support package does not include the supply of software. The AVG Internet Security software will be licenced for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The AVG software and activation key will be supplied to the customer within one week of the support package purchase date, and will be supplied as a download via an email. The software may be supplied on CD media at extra cost. Remote support is provided on an unlimited basis for the 12 month period. Remote support does not include the supply of replacement parts required to conduct a repair. Remote support does not include the supply of software. 12 Month Silver Support PackageThe 12 month silver support package includes all labour charges for the 12 month period from when the package was purchased. The support package does not include replacement parts required to conduct a repair. The support package does not include the supply of software. The AVG Antivirus software will be licenced for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The AVG software and activation key will be supplied to the customer within one week of the support package purchase date, and will be supplied as a download via an email. The software may be supplied on CD media at extra cost. Remote support is provided on an unlimited basis for the 12 month period. Remote support does not include the supply of replacement parts required to conduct a repair. Remote support does not include the supply of software. 6 Month Wesite SupportThe 6 month website support package includes all labour charges for the duration of the 6 month period. This includes general webpage updates, adding images, removing images, amending existing pages, creating databases, and administering databases. Any extra costs are not covered, these include but are not limited to, commercial web animations, commercial CMS packages, cost of webserver, cost of domain name and domain name renewal. 12 Month Wesite SupportThe 12 month website support package includes all labour charges for the duration of the 12 month period.
